Earlier it had been reported in the Bangladeshi media that Mustafizur Rahman, subject to the acceptance of visa in time, will leave for Mumbai on April 11 to take part in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s April 12 fixture.
“Mustafizur is more than likely to join the squad in Mumbai,” Moody said in a pre-match press conference in Hyderabad, ahead of their clash against Gujarat Lions.
In the meantime, Hyderabad captain David Warner on Friday had spoken about Mustafizur’s availability, calling for striking the right balance with the available squad and then be able to do it again when Mustafizur eventually joins up.
“For us, it’s about having the right balance against the right teams as well. And obviously work out which games he (Mustafizur) is available for and obviously we’ll be using him for that. When that time comes then we’ll work out the balance and hopefully it is a good one. Now you’ve got myself, Moises (Henriques), (Ben) Cutting and Rashid (Khan) – We’ve got to work out the balance of the team with Fizz (Mustafizur) back in.”
