A Big Hello…
…to all you lovely Masala! readers! For those of you who don’t know me, a quick intro: I’m MissMalini – a social media jedi who eats, breathes and sleeps Bollywood. I spend my days jetting from movie promotions to fashion weeks to the most fabulous page 3 parties around town – rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of B-town and bringing my readers the inside scoop on it all! #LivingTheDream
I’m super excited to be giving Masala! a glimpse into my life every week and look forward to taking you all on the journey that is my life!
Speaking of girls we love, Deepika Padukone has been killing it with her picture-perfect looks at the dinners and after parties for the Oscars. Her black and gold gown at the Vanity Fair party was all kinds of awesome, Deepika spoke about how she finds it so odd and feels weird as they are both working towards achieving completely different things. She feels that she could probably wrap her head around a comparison with Sonakshi and Anushka but definitely not with PC who she’s also friends with in real life.
We began the week by drooling all over Priyanka Chopra’s Ralph and Russo dress at the Oscars. While PC looked stunning on the red carpet, it was her post-Oscars madness that got our attention. She attempted to interview Jennifer Aniston and even downed a few shots. And the best part? She Instagrammed a picture of herself eating her favorite burger right after. This girl sure knows how to keep it real. #girlcrush
Back in Bombay, Bigg Boss 10 finalist Lopamudra Raut hung out with my team this week and they had an absolute blast. She told them about her modelling and pageant days, her journey in the Bigg Boss house, and how it takes a lot of mental strength to pull through those 90 days in the house. She added that she’s really grateful for the experience because it has taught her not to dwell on the negative things in life but to strive for positivity instead. When quizzed about her equation with her Bigg Boss arch rival Bani J, she told us that it was all in the game and she hopes they can someday be friends. Aww! We hope we get to see that soon.
PS – Team MissMalini played a fun game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ with her and discovered some well-kept secrets! Props to Lopamudra who’s gone from her humble beginnings in Nagpur to being an absolute go-getter and an inspiration to every girl out there working to make her dreams come true.
